[ROM] ULTIMATE V2 for Fly IQ446/Gionee GN708W/Xolo Q800/AllView P5 QUAD

Changelog:

1.based on amoi n828 4.2.1 base rom ,pre rooted.
2.boot logo and boot and shutdown animation to stock xolo.
3.complete aosp feel with even settings theme to aosp.
4.contacts dialer sms to stock jelly bean theme.
5.preview videos in gallery ,camera has photosphere panoroma mode working.
6.acid engine 5 and walkman enabled.(pls dont use any other audio mod it will ruin acid engine and walkman i have tried all audio mods in xda forums none matches this acid engine 5 with walkman combo).
7.change lockscren background in settings. default wallpaper will be different than in the screenshots u can change to ur liking.
8.About phone shows xolo q800.
9.Stock xolo q800 sounds.
10.last but not least bravia engine 3 enabled.

Instructions:

1.Take a nandroid back up first.

2.Then copy ultimate v2 zip to ur sd card.

3.Go to either CWM or TWRP recovery, i prefer TWRP recovery.

4.do factory reset, then format system, format cache, format dalvik cache.

5.then install ultimate v2.zip.

6.Reboot and enjoy.

[ROM] ULTIMATE V1 4.2.1

First let me explain the bugs and problems in stock 4.1.2

1.DISPLAY:Wallpaper and Gallery compression issues and smudging effect reducing quality of wallpapers..!!
2.CAMERA:All Third party cam apps like Procapture, CameraMx will display only black images after taking pic with it....!! there is no panoroma support...!!
3.SOUND:Microstuttering crackling sound in nfsmw and nun attack game..!! Low in call volume especially in crowded places cant hear anything...!! poor quality of music through headphones in any music app...!!
4.NOTIFICATION:Even in silent mode there is notification sound...!!

That sums it up so if u want to live with it go ahead with stock 4.1.2..!!
or Root it Get ready with ur CWM recovery(personally i love TWRP more !!) keep ur headsets close and enjoy my ROM below...!!

CHANGELOG:

1. I have removed all gionee crap from gionee gn708w android version 4.2. Based on Gionee 4.2.1 base rom with sw update to v1.7, Pre rooted, titanim back up, android tuner pre installed.

2. Free memory 610 mb.Bootanimation changed to default Xolo animation..!!

3. Removed Gionee launcher replaced with nova prime latest version launcher and MIUI launcher latest version ( u can choose whichever u want and change anytime.) Stock jelly bean icons nova launcher MIUI V5 icons for MIUI launcher and SMOOTH UI WITH NO LAGS. MIUI Lockscreen for both MIUI launcher and Nova launcher

4.Nexus 4.2.2 contacts..!! no bugs like my previous build can set contact picture can call through contacts too...!!

5.Nexus 4.2.2 SMS with lots of attachments options and u can reply sms from ur notification in taskbar...!!

6.Default dialer removed and replaced with Reactiv T9 Dialer.(check its settings u can theme it to lots of smartphones...!!)

7.Chinese browser removed replaced with Nexus 4.2.2 browser with flash

8.Default gionee 4.2.1 camera with added panoroma support and lots of addons...!!

9.Jelly bean camera+ and gallery+ with lots of options...!! my best use camera silent and changing storage location...!!

10.I have tried my best to theme setting page...!! but could not work with a black background...!! hope u like it..!! i have changed mobile model to xolo q800..!!

11.Notification bar changed...!! have replaced Gionee launcher in notification bar with engineering mode..!! (credits to back37) .I have replaced irritating bunny with stock jelly bean android when connected in usb storage...!!

12.Benchmarks score increased when u disable power saver in notification bar and in battery options....!!

13.Sony Bravia engine 3...yep u heard it rite its 3 not 2...!! actually modded for note 2 but works perfectly for xolo too..!!

14.Last but not least....as they always say save ur best for the last....!!

15.stock music player replaced with google play

from 4.2.2....!!

Hold on to ur seats...now the best music player....sony born and ruling the world....!! walkman music player with all features working...!! just tick clear audio+ and notice the difference in crispness u will be shocked by its sound quality...various equalizers give great music variations...with amazing visualization....!!

Instructions for TWRP recovery:

1.extract the [TWRP] [ROM] ULTIMATE V1 4.2.1.rar file to ur external sd card...This is only TWRP recovery compatible u cannot use cwm recovery to use this but u can install twrp recovery restore this rom then again u can flash back to cwm recovery. 2.after u go to twrp go to wipe option...then factory reset, then wipe system,then wipe cache and dalvik cache,then wipe android secure.

3.then go to restore option choose external memory and select Gionee 4.2 perfected for XOLO Q800, make sure all three boxes at top left are marked especially boot...!! then swipe to restore it after finishing...reboot and ur done....enjoy...!!!

Instructions for CWM recovery: UPDATED

1.It seems CWM RECOVERY doesnt back up....boot.img....hence if the rom which u are using is stock 4.1.2 or if its gionee 4.2.1 but sv 1.6 u will be stuck in boot logo because my back up is based on gionee 4.2.1 but sv 1.7 hence different boot.img... thats why some people are stuck at boot logo...Really sorry i always used TWRP recovery and it backs up boot.img too...!! for now THROUGH CWM recovery do factory reset, then in mounts and storage format system, format data then format cache,then in advanced do format dalvik cache...!!then u can install this zip gionee 4.2.1 sv 1.7.zip then follow my below instructions from point 2 it should work...!! trick is after installing the gionee 4.2.1 sv 1.7.zip u will get gionee 4.2.1 sv 1.7 boot.img in ur phone which will b compatible with my ULTIMATE rom back up....again to all sorry....!!

2.extract the ULTIMATE V1 4.2.1.rar file to ur external sd card if u have any previous cwm back ups pls move it to internal storage...!!This is only CWM recovery compatible u cannot use Twrp recovery. 3.after u go to CWM recovery do factory reset, then in mounts and storage format system, format data then format cache,then in advanced do format dalvik cache...!!

NOTE: CWM BACK UP FORMATTED MY INTERNAL STORAGE DONT KNOW WHY...!! IT NEVER HAPPENED WITH MY TWRP RECOVERY..SO BACK UP UR INTERNAL STORAGE FIRST...!! CWM DOES NOT BACK UP BOOTANIMATION SO U WILL BE HAVING PREVIOUS BOOT ANIMATION....ONLY TWRP RECOVERY HAS BOOT BACK UP TOO....!! THATS WHY I LIKE TWRP MORE...Smile
AFTER SUCCESSFUL BOOT POWER SAVING WILL BE ENABLED AT DEFAULT IN NOTIF BAR AND IN BATTERY SETTINGS....!! DISABLE IT ONLY FOR HEAVY GAMES....AND DONT FORGET TO DO BATTERY CALIBRATION...WILL TAKE 2 OR 3 FULL CHARGES FOR BATTERY LIFE TO BE STABLE BECAUSE OF NEW ROM....!!

NOTE -BEFORE READING IF U USED CWM RECOVERY...DID U WIPE DALVIK CACHE CORRECTLY...?? THAT IS DID IT ASK CONFIRMATION AGAIN DO U WANT TO WIPE DALVIK CACHE...?? IF NOT DO THE RESTORE AGAIN AND THIS TIME FIRST WIPE DALVIK CACHE FIRST UNDER ADVANCED...!!

1.persistent missed call notification.. FIX: Remove missed call from log in the dialer....!!

2.Those who want stock gionee contacts with dialer... remove contacts app and t9 dialer from titanium back up....download and keep com.android.contacts-20130101-002702.TiBkp file in ur sd card....then import and restore it with titanium back up...!! done... gionee contacts and dialer will be ugly...!! dont say i didnt warn u...!!

4.someone asked unable to download from play store...?? unable to download google maps ...everything downloads and works perfectly for me...!!

5.Browser is making weird stuttering images while scrolling....well this is a nexus browser so think some problems with it....!! FIX: use other 3rd party browsers...!! stock gionee browser is full chinese letters...tats why not posting it...!!

6.camera+ closes when going panoroma mode...!! and terminal emulator closes....!! FIX: convert both camera+ and terminal emulator to user apps in titanium back up....!!

7.OTG support: THERE IS NO CURRENT SUPPORT FOR IT IN KERNALS...AND I DONT KNOW TO EDIT KERNELS....!!
